Then take the road south, following the A7. In Settat, take the road R316, towards the west, to go to Boulaouane. This is where you will find one of the hidden treasures of Morocco: the historic site, in ruins, of the Casbah Boulaouane. Dating from the early eighteenth century, this Kasbah can be visited. The place offers a breathtaking view of the valley.
En route to Marrakech
From Boulaouane, take the R202 road, then the R314 and the P2107 before taking the A7 towards Marrakech. There you will be spoiled for choice for your outings. Do not miss the souks of Marrakech, but also the Gardens of Agdal, the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque and the Majorelle Garden.
